Ear Sass & Founder Sophie McGown

Founded by Scottish designer and Style Expert Sophie McGown, EAR SASS jewellery blends style with purpose, creating beautiful statement pieces that place mental health awareness and initiatives at their core. 

The brand has been worn by Catherine, the Princess of Wales, on separate occasions, including World Mental Health Day.

Sophie’s designs are inspired by people in her life, such as the ‘Issy Star’ hoop earrings, which were inspired by her friend Isabella Blow, the late fashion icon who discovered Alexander McQueen. Sophie met Isabella in 2004 when they worked together as assistants for Philip Treacy at the V&A.

A percentage of sales from the Issy Star and the ‘Catherine’ are donated to the mental health charity, Brave Mind.
